We love exhibitions and we want to share some exciting must-see shows.
This week we want to introduce the Museum of London. Sandwiched in between the Barbican and St Paul’s, you will be overloaded with lots to see and do.
So what’s on. From the 24th Sept till the 11th November 2018 there is a wonderful exhibition on London Nights. There are over 200 images by 60 photographers, ranging from the late 19th century to the present day including some images that have never been seen before. If you would have been following us for a while you might notice names like Nick Turpin and Bill Brandt and so many more.

The curator is Anna Sparham and she explains how London Nights explores the subject through the perspective of photographers. Photography depends upon light presence or absence is an enticing challenge to the photographer.   The exhibition is divided into three sections, which she titled London Illuminated, Dark Matters and Switch On Switch Off.

They were loaned images from V&A, Tate etc plus she had staff photographers make prints from negatives including taking prints from their own collection. Sparham has played with the curation putting historical images with contemporary versions opposite it.

It is a splendid show and well worth a visit.
