Knowledge is power and when knowledge is organized within fantastic magazines and online platforms, this makes it easy. We know there is so much information out there that we have drafted up a sweet little list for you to choose your favourites.

British Journal of Photography
This is the oldest photography magazine. It began in 1854. Its emphasis is on innovation, concepts and the creative process. It is on sale in shops from the first Wednesday of every month. You can buy it from the BJP Shop or download a digital copy.

Aperture
A 100 odd page magazine with a whole post of essays and images to wet your photographic appetite. It doesn’t come cheap but we think it is worth the cash. It comes out each season so Winter, Spring, Summer etc. This Winter 2017 Aperture Magazine is issue 229 and the topic is on Future Gender.

Aesthetica 
Aesthetica is one of the leading publications for art, design and photography. It introduces and informs the viewer on photography but also Architecture, Film, Fashion, Art, Music and a whole lot more. Check out the Award Prize too for Creative writing and short film festival. Hours of fun!

Daylight
Daylight Magazine is an English-language documentary photography magazine founded in 2003 by Taj Forer and Michael Itkoff. It is released bi-annually. It features a series of selected photographs related to the issue’s theme with explanatory essays written by the photographers.
